Assessment about Delinquency Among Girls in Rwanda & Five-Year Strategic Plan for a National Rehabilitation and Skills Development Centre

Description:This project involved an assessment about female youth at-risk in Rwanda, intended to inform policy decisions, and the development of a detailed five-year strategic plan for a national rehabilitation and skills development centre.

The study included qualitative and quantitative methods in order to identify factors contributing to engagement in non-violent criminal activity among female youth. Analysis and reporting included an assessment of opportunities and barriers to curb such activity among female youth, and provided practical recommendations detailing sustainable programs for prevention, rehabilitation and reintegration.
