Client : OXFAM Rwanda, Oxfam GB
Duration : November 2014 – February 2015
Description : The mid-term evaluation of the Oxfam Rwanda Sustainable Livelihoods Programme assessed the Programme’s progress and impact since it began implementation in 2012. The evaluation report provided details of sustainable market-oriented livelihoods, with particular emphasis on women, as well as recommendations on possible additional agricultural value chains to increase opportunities for smallholder producers, mid-range enterprises and private sector partners. The evaluation also included a partner assessment to provide recommendations for continued or future partnerships. It focused in particular on women’s economic empowerment and gender equality, considering household and community gender dynamics, women’s leadership and decision-making roles and their economic outcomes.
